ShawnIngram.com Network: Site Problems & Server Move

Due to some issues which have caused site outages on all of our sites within the ShawnIngram.com network during the month of May, we were granted a server move yesterday. Our sites were down again yesterday due to some technical issues drawing a very irate support ticket from me. Hopefully the new server we reside on will not have many of the issues which we have been experiencing this past month. I apologize for any issues anyone has been having hitting my websites.

Over the past week I have noticed several outages of my sites. There appears to be some issues with the server cluster in which my websites are hosted on. I am working with DreamHost, our host, to resolve the issues. I apologize for any inconvenience you may have had trying to browse through any of my online catalogs/websites.

Pristine Photography: Six Galleries and near 100 images featured at ImageKind!

With our new relationship at ImageKind, we have created six public galleries containing near 100 images. Our photographs are available there as posters and framed prints in over 5 million combinations of paper, matting, and framing options. Following is a summary of our currently available galleries:

Autumn Photography - This gallery features photographs taken with an autumn theme. Primarilly scenics of autumn foliage, the gallery is also slated to contain photographs of autumn leaves, pumpkins, and other things that fit into the theme of the season.

Bird Photography - This gallery features photographs taken of various birds. Folks enjoying ducks, baby chicks, eagles, or other feathered friends may find the photographs they are looking for within this gallery.

Butterfly Photography - This gallery features photographs taken of various species of butterflies. Photos of butterflies flying or feeding, our shots show species which were found both in the wild and in captivity.

Floral Photography - This gallery features photographs taken of various types of flowers. Shots of both entire fields/gardens of flowers as well as up close versions are available.

Animal Photography - This gallery features photographs of animals both tame and wild, in the wild and in captivity. Using a variety of zoom lenses, many of these photographs bring you up close and personal with some of natures most wonderful creatures.

Other Photography - This gallery features photographs which don’t fit into our other galleries.

Pristine Photography expands reach to ImageKind!

Pristine Photography will be expanding its reach to the services at ImageKind within the next couple of weeks. In addition, we will also be working with the folks at ImageKind to find fits of their other members within the network of sites we run. Eventually we hope to have the means to create pages full of ImageKind artist products at our Pristine Shopping website as well as many of our other more directly targeted sites.

ImageKind is a print-on-demand community type service where artists may offer their art on a variety of product formats. Their framed prints offer shoppers a variety of different options on not only medium type that the art is printed to, but a variety of framing options as well.

PristinePhoto: New Clothing Images and new products!

I will be working to replace the square blocks on all clothing items over the next couple of weeks.  The new images for clothing will have a ragged edge and in some cases text may be added to the design.  I have never thought the square box to be very fashionable so while I was hiding in the mountains of Kentucky, I took out the old handy dandy notebook computer and all my design DVDs and started reworking designs to take the block out of the block images!

While we work to change the images on our offered clothing, we will also be working to add new products.  Our vendor has made a few new product options available over the past year and we haven’t been able to keep up with getting our designs on all of them.  I’ll work to get them added as I’m going through the various sections changing out the clothing images.

I’ll post by collection as the images and products are changed/added.
