ShawnIngram.com Network: Site Problems & Server Move

Due to some issues which have caused site outages on all of our sites within the ShawnIngram.com network during the month of May, we were granted a server move yesterday. Our sites were down again yesterday due to some technical issues drawing a very irate support ticket from me. Hopefully the new server we reside on will not have many of the issues which we have been experiencing this past month. I apologize for any issues anyone has been having hitting my websites.

Over the past week I have noticed several outages of my sites. There appears to be some issues with the server cluster in which my websites are hosted on. I am working with DreamHost, our host, to resolve the issues. I apologize for any inconvenience you may have had trying to browse through any of my online catalogs/websites.

ShawnIngram.com: Our Network of Sites Moved to New Host!

The ShawnIngram.com network of sites moved to a new host over the past couple of days. We are in the process of moving the last site, The Tease-Shirt Company as we type this. All of our sites should be operating on the new host by the end of today. If you notice any issues, please let us know by using the Contact Us option on the site you have an issue with.

Nifty Nature Gifts: FINALLY work progresses!

After many months in hibernation while helping a buddy recover from a stroke, I’ve finally resumed work on Nifty Nature Gifts.  Unfortunately there is not much for public consumption yet as I am working on the backend processes and organization. Look for an unveiling at http://www.niftynaturegifts.com towards the end of May!

Unlike our portals, Nifty Nature Gifts will be solely a shopping site and not available for affiliation through the CafePress.com affiliate program.  We do this mainly because we will be using the site to participate in other programs to offer shoppers not only designs from artists at CafePress.com, but also other gifts oriented around nature from a variety of other shopping sites.

We will be activating the site in stages prior to our May 31st project deadline.  Hopefully we will be able to meet our deadline and will begin advertising to all the search engines starting in June!

ShawnIngram.com: Morning site outtage…

Heyas all.. Just wanted to drop a quick note about the outtage this morning which effected all of the ShawnIngram.com websites. We are still awaiting word from our host as to what caused the problem. Until we get positive word back, we rolled back an application we installed to manage our Pristine Shopping site last night. All sites should be operational at this point.
