Extended Absence…

Many of you may have been wondering about the extended absence and the lack of updates to our network or websites.  In June I was diagnosed the the hereditary high blood pressure that plagues my family.  The levels were high enough for a scare of not only risk of heart attack but stroke as well.  The doc put me on high blood pressure medicine to try to pull my numbers down.  Unfortunately, one of the side effects that I have experienced with the medication is the inability to keep my thought processes organized to work on some of the programming projects I had been doing.  Things are finally starting to return to normal as I adjust to the meds, still not perfect but getting to a point where work isn’t impossible.

In the weeks to come, I plan on resuming work on the myNicheShop application that runs all of my shopping websites.  Some of the features which still need completed are the autoupdate routines and handling of artist’s products which are missing descriptions.  In addition, I’ll need to recheck how everything pulls from CafePress.com to ensure changes they have made on their side haven’t broke things I had coded.

Also, I will be working more proactively on Pristine Shopping (http://www.pristineshopping.com) in promoting other merchants/websites I have relationships with in order to get them all featured within our shopping mall.  In addition to the merchants already featured on Pristine Shopping, we have hundreds of others which we have yet to add.  I had hoped to finish the Pristine Shopping project prior to the Christmas shopping season but unfortunately due to my illness I have fallen short of that goal.  If you are looking for something you can’t find featured, feel free to contact me and if I can provide what you are looking for I will send you a link.
