The Tease-Shirt Company: Stalled but not forgotten!

Posted by Shawn

We are in the process of waiting for some software updates before diving heavilly into getting The Tease-Shirt Company in full swing. Once we receive the software updates, we will start polling through the offerings at CafePress to compile links of some of the best designs offered there relating to a variety of subjects.

While we wait on the updates, we will be focusing our efforts on Pristine Photography and Geocacher Gear as well as our partner sites of Cool Butterflies and Roses and Lilacs.

Pristine Photography: No news is not always bad!

Posted by Shawn

Hey folks! I just wanted to make a quick post regarding Pristine Photography.

Although there haven’t been a lot of new designs pushed out lately, we have been working on keeping up with a lot of the new changes at CafePress behind the scenes in order to ensure we are ready for the Christmas shopping season.

CafePress is in the process of testing a new marketplace and search which required some rethinking of the “behind the scenes” organizational structure of Pristine Photography. This has been the main thing we have been working on within the site.

The good news is, there are at least 20 or so additional designs which have been uploaded and are waiting in a staging area to be added to products. These designs include photographs of critters, flowers, and butterflies. I wont give away all of the specifics but for those who have enjoyed our big cat photographs, I think you will enjoy some of the additional critter photos.

Geocacher Gear Adds Several Business Relationships!

Posted by Shawn

We have been busy working to form merchandising relationships with several companies in order to make Geocacher Gear a one-stop shopping resource for geocachers. Over the weekend, we have added several relationships with a large variety of products and have several more that we are working on building! Following are some of the relationships added for the new Geocacher Gear sections:

Outerwear - jackets, rain gear, coats, and sweaters were made availabe via our relationship with Sierra Trading Post.

Footwear - hiking boots and hiking shoes were made available via our relationship with Sierra Trading Post.

Garmin GPS - Several models of the Garmin brand GPS units were made available via our relationship with US Calvary.

Magellan GPS - A few Magellan brand GPS items were made available via our relationship with US Calvary.

Navigational Gear - Compasses, map cases/pouches, and temporary map markers were made available via our relationship with US Calvary. Also, maps and trail guides were made available via a relationship with Trails.com.

Hiking Gear - Trekking poles, hiking socks, daypacks, and other hiking gear were made available via our relationship with Sierra Trading Company.

Logbooks - Various designs of logbooks were made availabe via different artists/designers at CafePress.com

Labels - Various designs of labels/stickers were made available via different artists/designers at CafePress.com

Shirts / Kids - Various designs were made available in the shirts and kids sections via different artists/designers at CafePress.com

There is still a LOT of work to be done to get this site totally geared up! I am still working on relationships with several merchants regarding offering additional gear for Hiking, Camping, Photography, and Bicycling, as well as a couple of merchants who offer trinkets and containers. We also still have a long list of artist designs we are looking to incorporate into our site sections from the CafePress affiliate program.

If you are into geocaching and you don’t find something that you need there, check back or contact us using the contact form at the Geocacher Gear website and let us know what we need to add.

Last but not least, we added links from two organizations to Geocacher Gear. Although neither are directly related to geocaching, we felt both were appropriate for the website and hope our visitors will help support them. They are for the American Red Cross and the Sierra Club.

Geocacher Gear Gearing Up!

Posted by Shawn

Early last week we registered the domain for Geocacher Gear. Our plans are to utilize the new CafePress affiliate program as well as programs from other merchants on the web to offer a one-stop shop to meet all the hardcore geocacher’s needs. We are currently working on reworking a website that has only been in exsistence for a couple of weeks!

The new website will include links to Trails.com, a website where geocachers, hikers, mountain bikers, or anyone looking for topographical and trail maps can find the information they need before heading out!

It will also provide the latest GPS brands and accessories via our relationship with Amazon.com. Gear from Garmin, Magellan, and other GPS manufacturers as well as books, camping gear, photography gear, or other merchandise that could be of interest to the geocaching addict!

We are excited about the prospects of what this shop could bring to our fellow geocaching addicts. We hope to see you there!

New Partnership Offers More Butterfly and Flower Merchandise Options!

Posted by Shawn

Within the past couple weeks we have formed a new partnership and are now working with a couple of additional websites. The new websites have been in exsistence for a while but the site owner is swamped with projects and having problems maintaining them. Our role in the maintenance of the sites will be to get exsisting images moved onto products as well as getting them added to new products as they are made available.

Roses and Lilacs features a variety of photographs and artwork of roses and lilacs. There are currently dozens of designs available with roughly 1000 images waiting to be added to products!

Cool Butterflies features a variety of photographs and artwork of butterflies. The designer applied various paint effects to her photos to give an interesting twist to some of her photographs. As with Roses and Lilacs, there are dozens of designs available with thousands more to be added.

Eventually the butterflies and roses from Pristine Photography may be moved into these shops. In the interim, we plan to add links to our offerings.

We hope you enjoy these additional websites!
